At least I got to clean the slush off before it maybe freezes tonight

I don’t miss the snow and cleaning up after the snow plows, but the light in the photo is nice.

This is really unusual weather here, so it’s still a novelty for me

If it snowed like that in Austin we’d be locked in until it melted since we have no plows...

Vancouver has only got 44 apparently, I don’t know how many Burnaby has but it can’t be more. We haven’t had snow at all for over 2 years so everyone is pretty thrown off and transit especially is screwed

Amazing. I’m not much more than 100 miles south of you, and we got maybe 2-3 cm the week before last, flurries a couple other days, otherwise nothing.

That’s an impressive difference. This is the third big snow this season, and I think today was the biggest, something like 18cm. Not much compared to the rest of Canada, but lots for Vancouver

I’m somewhat jealous, as we haven’t had a snow event like that here since 2008. We also have a lot less snow removal equipment here, so as bad as it was there, it would be 10x worse here. Snow is armaggedon in Seattle, people panic. I think we’ll have more chances this winter.
